Another option for horse boarding CA, Los Angeles county, is the Peninsula Riding Club. This stables is located in a gated community known as The Ranch on top of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The Peninsula Riding Club's focus is on Arabians, but it has taken other breeds to board, and practices Clinton Anderson training techniques. Obviously, it would be most convenient if you owned a home in this community, but it has boarded horses of people who don’t live there.

The community includes lovely fenced bridle paths, though a former boarder told me that they can be a tad narrow, which will offer you an excellent training opportunity with your horse, should your horse be shy about barking dogs. ☺ These paths are not connected to the main system of bridle paths on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
My experience has been that they do return phone calls so give them a call if you plan to live in the area and are looking for a place to board your horse.
