Palos Verdes Peninsula Horsemens Association Trail Guide

This map of some great equestrian trails in Los Angeles county is so good it can serve as a model for all trail guides. The fifth edition (2007) of Palos Verdes Peninsula Horsemens Association Trail Guide plots the trails on Google Maps satelite images of the peninsula. This spiral-bound booklet which measures 5 3/4" by 8 1/2" is small enough to throw in a saddle bag to take with you on the trail yet still large enough so that you don't have to haul out the magnifying glass every time you consult it. Its 56 pages include elevation gain and length of the trails, as well as ads of various local equestrian and nonequestrian businesses. The result is a great reference for anyone interested in horse riding in Los Angeles county. You can buy this trail guide for the Palos Verdes Peninsula for about $20 at local feed and tack stores including
